The business’ success exploded after its first year of operations, and they were able to open their second location, a trendy speakeasy cocktail bar and event space in downtown Royal Oak. Now, you can find their handcrafted spirits at bars and stores across the country. At the moment, the team at Weiss is celebrating summer with their Weiss in the Wild theme, which features jungle-inspired decor, drinks, and more. Among the highlights of the new menu is Topsy’s Revenge, a vodka-based drink that features fruitiness and sultry vanilla oak bitters. And it’s served in a literal elephant glass.

Another new item on the menu is their seasonal, limited edition Barrel-Rested Straitjacket Gin, a symphony of botanicals aged to perfection in apple brandy barrels for a deep, robust flavor with a festive glow. The company also has an absinthe on the menu, distilled from world-class rye grown by Grand Traverse Distillery and made using a 19th century French recipe.
